An engine squish is when you unbolt the cylinder from the engine, get rid of the stock gasket, and replace it with a thinner one. This can be done by going out and buying a thin sheet of copper (a little thicker than aluminum foil) and cutting yourself out a new gasket (use an X-acto knife). You can also make a gasket out of Permatex "form-a-gasket" maker, which is a sticky goo that you spread a very thin layer around where the gasket goes and bolt it all back together and let it harden overnight. Doing an engine squish will slightly increase the compression of the engine and cause higher and quicker revs also resulting in 1-2 extra mph faster top speed.

Yea those are thinner gaskets for doing an engine squish. But those will only work on a the Go-Ped engines, I think just the G23LH

no, those gaskets will only work with just Go-Ped engines. That pic is even a Go-Ped engine

I have a ? about billet heads I know they have those dome things to put in the shell to get more compresion but how do they stay in when you put them in the shell.

They all bolt together and tighten down

what happens if i dont use any gaskets for the cylinder, i dont see how that can make u loose compression seein how the gas/co2 mixture is compressed above the pistion head...i dont think any gasket should be needed there..I could be wrong tho

you are b/c the oil/gas goes into the crank case from vacum casued by the piston acting like a "valve" and it passes that area and the gasket keeps vacum pressure from leaking and if you have no gasket there your engine wont run or run very poorly

no it dosnt work better maybe the same or not as good b/c it wont squish when tightened like the rubber ones do

the copper sheets i got is paper thin, i also have some as thin as aluminum foil i dunno, but i think 1/8 barb may be too big to drill into the manifold?
