u know u can buy kill switches from radio shack, some have lights in them too

does it matter on the amps ex:Rated 6 amps at 250VAC Rated 20 amps at 12VDC

a killswitch only has like 5 volts going through it and like .00001 amps

yeah, takes only a fraction of an amp to work. any small kill switch would work.

my freind just used 1 of those metal up and down switches it worked fine till somehow the wire came out of the engine

I got an interruptor button from auto zone, cut the old button off, and put connectors on the old wire. Works perfect
