Why are you making it sound so difficult, an o-ring gasket would be better, like how it set up on the juice box.

I know what you mean, But honestly I don't think that kind of gasket would change a leak problem.

If it can stop a juice from having air leaks than I dont see why not stopping thick oil from leaking through, but on the juice box theres a long solid o-ring, but on the x-can theres not. if the trans was made out of billet and was thicker to even have 2 o-ring gaskets then there would be no leaks at all. just try to picture something better than the trans we have now.

but yea you would maybe have oil leak out of the oil seals. or maybe theres a way to fix that up.

The Juicebox has pressurized air in it and the gearbox has gear oil in it. No difference really for the gasket. But when the gears spin fast in the gearbox, that creates pressure almost like a hydraulic pump. And that is what makes the leak problem bad.
If you have smooth mating edges on the gearbox halves and the right gasket there won't be any leaks except for the minor ones coming from the oil seals.

Yes I know because last year I saw it bubbling out of the sides.

lol
ahhh, thats a sign of a bad seal
The Viza gearbox it built to tight tolerances. You might be screwed and have to buy a new one if there are dents in the case from prying it open with a screwdriver.

Ha ha ha tight tolerance when I was bolting it back on a part of the trans casecracked off and is now held together with epoxy glue, and the leak was coming out of the oil drain nut on top because there were air bubbles in the casting so I have to glue the nut in or oil comes out.

I wish they would do that o-ring seal system.

And try to make the gear box more profile and with a basic shape so that you don't get all that dirt and crap in those little corners.

Id say the scooter averages a top speed of around 30-32mph. A ratio calculator I was using reckons Ill hit about 40mph with the sprockets being changed to 11-16
